I hope to gain efficient means of gathering data about students' individual needs and abilities. I intend to use that data as a tool to guide instruction and as a way to evaluate students' growth.

Technology is always changing and I hope to have the ability to keep up-to-date with the various ways I can use it to benefit the needs of my students and to assist in having a smooth running program.

I want to integrate the assessments learned in this class into my lesson plans and instruction. In addition, I would like to investigate and learn what digital materials and multimedia are available to fit the national music standards for grades K-4. I would like to be bring in the literacy pieces that are available using digital materials and computers and get away from the music textbooks.

Jazz Ensemble, Beginning Keyboarding, Music Theory-jeff.loda@gmail.com- I teach several technology-driven courses, and hope to implement what I learn here in creating assessment materials and assignments, particularly for Keyboarding and Music Theory classes (many assignmeMinnts are done on GarageBand and/or Sibelius).

George Washington Elementary School in lower Westchester County NYS - K-5 Vocal/General Music, 4th & 5th Grade Chorus, paulmastalinski@earthlink.net - I am looking for ways to better assess large numbers of students in order to help drive instruction. I am hoping to find organized, fast, and easily integrated assessment ideas. NYS is rolling out new requirements for teacher evaluation and 40% of my annual professional performance review will have to be demonstrated through student growth.

I am currently being evaluated using the Charolette Danielson teaching rubric which places great emphasis on assessment of students at all stages or learning. I am expected to be constantly assessing and recording student growth. It's overwhelming with over 500 students I see weekly. Iam looking for effective,efficient ways to assess students.
